Falmouth Supervisor Meg Bohmke Endorses Delegate Bob Thomas for Re-Election

STAFFORD, VA –Today, Falmouth District Supervisor Meg Bohmke endorsed Delegate Bob Thomas for re-election to Virginia’s 28th House of Delegates District.

“Delegate Bob Thomas has a proven record of conservative results for our region, and he has quickly gained the reputation as a well respected legislator grounded in principle and faith,” said Supervisor Meg Bohmke. “We need his work ethic, dedication to problem solving for our community, and leadership in Richmond. I wholeheartedly endorse his re-election in June and November.”

Thomas said, “I’m humbled to have Supervisor Meg Bohmke’s continued support. Meg has a distinguished record of leadership in the community, and under her leadership, Stafford County received its third AAA bond rating since 2015. I’m proud of the state and local partnership we have built, and I welcome her endorsement.”

Delegate Bob Thomas is a proud husband, father, small business owner, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and citizen legislator representing the 28th District, which includes parts of Stafford County and Fredericksburg City, in the Virginia House of Delegates. Prior to taking office on January 10, 2018, he served six years on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors representing the George Washington District.

About Supervisor Meg Bohmke:

Supervisor Meg Bohmke was first elected to the Stafford County Board of Supervisors in November 2013 after serving on the Stafford County School Board since 2010. She was elected Chairman by her fellow Board members for 2018. Together, Meg and her husband Dave have three children, Matt, Greg and Natalie, and they’ve lived in the Falmouth District for 16 years. Also, she is a past elder in the Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church where she currently teaches Sunday School.
